Cash Envelope System – Printable

We’ve been attempting the Dave Ramsey Cash System and it works pretty well. I wanted a few envelope type dividers for each of my Cash categories to help me stay organized. My template was inspired by an envelope system I saw on Pinterest but there are many other ways and other templates for the envelopes, just browse Pinterest.

TEMPLATES:

Here are the templates, PDF format: Cash Envelope Pages

This contains 8 pages: 5 pages for the envelopes, a page of labels (some are blank for you to fill in with your own categories) and 2 pages for the register inserts.

If you choose to line the inside of your envelopes with a second paper (I used polka dots) you’ll need to print the files reversed so it lines up correctly. I already flipped the pages and you can download them here: Cash Envelope Liner Pages

INSTRUCTIONS:

Print your envelopes on a paper of your choice (I used scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby)

If you decide to line them then print out the “Liner” file. You’ll notice the file is upside down and backwards, this is so it lines up correctly with your outside envelope paper.

I printed the Registers on a light cardstock and the Labels on a vellum

All the envelopes cut out

Match your outer and inner envelope pieces together. Glue together (I used modge podge)

Fold your envelope closed, glue the flaps down

  3. I love everything you have available. Thanks so much for sharing your great system. I attempted to download the Cash Envelope Liner System, but only got another page of the Envelope patterns. I would really appreciate it if I could download the whole thing! Thanks.

  4. The liner is the envelope pattern but its been rotated. So you should see the wording backwards or upside down for the liner. Hope this helps!
